ZAHEDAN (IRNA) -- A letter of understanding was signed by the end of 18th Iran-Pakistan talks on border affairs called PMU.

Major General Ghaffari head of Iranian delegation in the talks said in this round of talks both sidea discussed the implementation of the agreements reached in previous session held last year in quetta, Pakistan and also broadening cooperation in frontier affairs, joint operations, and meeting of military commanders of the border areas.
He also said they had fruitful debates on ways and means to counter the drug dealers and bandits and reached agreements on 13 points.
Ghaffari underlined that the police forces on both sides of the frontier are fully ready and determined to suppress the outlaws in the region by making use of all regional and national capabilities.
Head of the Pakistani delegation in the talks, General Forghanaddin said it was agreed that commanders of frontier forces of both countries meet every month to coordinate operations.
Stressing that the enemies of Iran are considered the enemies of his homeland, the Pakistani general said the enemies should know that the police forces of both countries are unified and the world would soon witness the results of their joint efforts.
He announced on behalf of the Pakistan government that no one would be allowed on his country's soil to disturb the security of these two neighboring states
